About the role

A Project Manager for the Construction Team is a highly skilled professional responsible for overseeing and managing electrical projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong technical background in electrical systems, project management expertise, and the ability to lead teams effectively. The Electrical Project Manager collaborates with clients, engineers, electricians, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that electrical projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget while meeting quality standards and adhering to relevant regulations.

Qualifications

Required Skills, Experience, and Education

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. - Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, demonstrating successful project completions in electrical construction. - In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, regulations, and construction practices. - Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and facilitate effective collaboration. - Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines. - Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and best practices. - Proficiency in project management software and tools. - Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

- 5+ years of PM experience - Projects up to $10,000,000 - Strong proficiency in software and tools (e.g., Accubid, Bluebeam, Procore, Plangrid) and Microsoft Office Suite
