Key Responsibilities
- Management and coordination of project development and execution
- Determination of project development and execution strategies such as contracting plan, material management plan and integrated project schedule
- Project team management and development of team members (i.e. maintenance, operations, safety)
- Utilization of the capital deployment process for project development and execution
- Manage and forecast project costs
- Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements, plant engineering standards and equipment standards
- Compliance with Process safety, ergonomics, MSHA, ISO, environmental agencies, applicable codes and regulatory agencies
- Ensure projects comply with all applicable standards.
- Management of departmental record keeping and databases
- Activities Management and coordination of project development and execution including development of AFEs and evaluation of project’s economics
- Oversee management of change (MOC) process
- Absorb and perform root cause analysis (RCA’s)
Skill, Capability & Educational Requirements
- H.S Diploma or equivalent required; B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- 3 + years of experience in Project Management which includes management of budgets, and timelines to ensure efficient project execution required
- 3 + years of relevant industrial electrical experience required
- Engineer in training certificate or professional engineering license preferred
- Proficient in M.S Applications including but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
- Experience in SAP and Auto CAD strongly preferred
