Electrical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Management and coordination of project development and execution
  • Determination of project development and execution strategies such as contracting plan, material management plan and integrated project schedule
  • Project team management and development of team members (i.e. maintenance, operations, safety)
  • Utilization of the capital deployment process for project development and execution
  • Manage and forecast project costs
  • Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements, plant engineering standards and equipment standards
  • Compliance with Process safety, ergonomics, MSHA, ISO, environmental agencies, applicable codes and regulatory agencies
  • Ensure projects comply with all applicable standards.
  • Management of departmental record keeping and databases
  • Activities Management and coordination of project development and execution including development of AFEs and evaluation of project’s economics
  • Oversee management of change (MOC) process
  • Absorb and perform root cause analysis (RCA’s)

Skill, Capability & Educational Requirements

  • H.S Diploma or equivalent required; B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • 3 + years of experience in Project Management which includes management of budgets, and timelines to ensure efficient project execution required
  • 3 + years of relevant industrial electrical experience required
  • Engineer in training certificate or professional engineering license preferred
  • Proficient in M.S Applications including but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Experience in SAP and Auto CAD strongly preferred
