Electrical Project Manager

PureGrid Electrical is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Project Manager who thrives on coordinating complex electrical projects with flawless execution. Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of mid-sized industrial electrical projects, ensuring safe, accurate, and on-schedule completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Field Operations Manager and site superintendents, providing clear plans, drawings, and labor support.
• Track and expedite long-lead electrical equipment (e.g., switchgear, transformers), coordinate nationwide material delivery, and review supplier quality to prevent delays.
• Monitor project budgets, process billings, draft purchase orders, manage subcontracts, and track scope changes or change order requests.
• Facilitate regular alignment meetings with general contractors, owners, and engineering teams to update progress and milestones.
• Maintain organized project records in construction management software, handling RFIs, submittals, and drawing updates from preconstruction through closeout.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of Project Management or Assistant Project Manager experience in electrical subcontracting, with exposure to industrial electrical or commercial design-build projects.
• Solid understanding of medium-to-heavy industrial electrical work, power distribution equipment, and construction blueprints.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on trade experience).
• Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam; experience with modern construction management tools.
• Highly organized with clear communication skills and a hands-on approach to project efficiency.
• Ability to travel nationwide to support job sites during key project phases.
