Your New Role
You’ll oversee electrical construction projects from pre-construction through close-out. Based in Richardson, TX, you’ll coordinate project strategy, align with field and office teams, track budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure every job hits quality and timeline standards.
- Build and maintain detailed construction schedules for electrical work
- Lead project kickoff strategies and operational plans
- Manage material orders, permits, and vendor contracts
- Oversee field execution and project budget performance
- Direct submittals, billings, and documentation throughout the project
- Conduct job site visits to ensure safety, code compliance, and excellence
- Closing out projects with documentation, commissioning, and client training
- Lead and mentor your project team and develop future leaders
Hiring Expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience managing electrical construction projects from pre-construction to close-out
- Strong command of NEC code and local/state permitting requirements
- Proficiency with project management software like Procore, ConEst, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel
- PMP certification or similar is a plus
- Strong ability to interpret electrical plans, answer RFIs, and guide field execution
- Excellent communication, leadership, budgeting, and negotiation skills
- Strong ability to mentor, delegate, and develop project engineers and assistants
