Electrical Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee industrial electrical construction projects for a well-established electrical contractor. This position will be based in Orbisonia, PA and will focus on complex industrial and process-driven facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical construction project management experience with an emphasis on medium-voltage power distribution and industrial electrical systems. Remote and local candidates will be considered for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Manage industrial electrical projects from preconstruction and planning through completion and closeout.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, manpower, procurement, change orders, and overall project performance.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, general contractors, field leadership, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Manage electrical scopes involving medium-voltage distribution, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, equipment connections, and related industrial power systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, estimates, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous Electrical Project Management experience with an electrical contractor required.
• Strong background managing industrial electrical construction projects.
• Experience with medium-voltage electrical systems and power distribution required; this is not a low-voltage-focused position.
• Knowledge of switchgear, transformers, MCCs, industrial equipment installations, and electrical infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, estimating, scheduling, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and client-management skills.
