Electrical Project Manager

About the role

The Electrical Project Manager will manage commercial, light industrial, and institutional electrical construction projects throughout the Atlanta market. This individual will oversee projects from preconstruction and turnover through completion, with responsibility for budgets, schedules, procurement, field coordination, change management, and customer relationships. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical construction background and a proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and profitably.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects from turnover through completion and closeout.
• Oversee budgets, cost forecasting, schedules, procurement, billing, and project profitability.
• Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, field leadership, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and project documentation.
• Partner with field teams to address manpower, productivity, scheduling, safety, and constructability issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience with project management responsibilities.
• Experience managing commercial, light industrial, and/or institutional electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, scheduling, and construction processes.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, labor management, procurement, billing, and change orders.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
