Electrical Project Manager Assistant

About the role

This position is structured as a direct pathway to becoming a Project Manager in the electrical construction industry. You’ll work directly with experienced Project Managers on active commercial projects, gaining hands-on experience in estimating, scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, and client communication. You'll learn how real projects are built from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Aid in preparing and tracking submittals, RFIs & change orders
• Support material purchasing, deliveries, and inventory management
• Track project schedules, milestones, and deadlines to ensure jobs stay on track
• Coordinate with field teams and vendors
• Maintain organized project files, documentation, and reports
• Support budget and job cost tracking

Requirements

Who We're Looking For:

• Construction background (electrical experience preferred)
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and other project documentation
• Motivated to grow and take ownership of role
