Electrical Project Engineer - Distribution

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as single disciplinary lead for electrical distribution design on assigned projects
• Manage and perform engineering activities across the full project life cycle
• Develop engineering calculations, specifications, single-line diagrams, and construction drawings
• Provide technical guidance and quality review on project deliverables
• Cook up with project managers, clients, and other engineering disciplines
• Support business development and client relationship activities
• Mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, 5+ years of experience in electrical distribution engineering, Demonstrated experience with utility clients, Full project life cycle experience (project engineering from concept through construction)
• Preferred Qualifications: Active P.E. license preferred, Experience with overhead and underground distribution design, Familiarity with NESC, utility standards, and distribution planning, Experience with protection and automation systems, Strong client-facing and project coordination skills
