About the role
Hansen, Allen & Luce (HAL) is a trusted leader in water resources engineering with over 50 years of experience. We maintain a technical staff of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral graduates specializing in water resources engineering, plus other technical positions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and design water system infrastructure projects, including pump stations, well houses, pipelines, and drinking water storage facilities.
- Work independently and productively in a collaborative setting to aid in team building through mentorship while displaying a high level of organization and communication skills.
- Provide professional electrical engineering services for projects including planning, design, cost estimating, bidding, and construction administration.
- Coordinate with local power utility companies for new/upgrades of electrical service.
- Perform electrical system analysis and calculations.
- Create structural designs and calculations.
- Assist engineers and drafters in the preparation of structural drawings, notes, and specifications.
- Interact with clients and government officials representing HAL.
- Help prepare and track schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings.
- Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work.
- Maintain budgets and schedules of project assignments.
- Provide professional electrical engineering services for projects including planning, design, cost estimating, bidding, and construction administration.
- Coordinate with local power utility companies for new/upgrades of electrical service.

- Design of electrical power, control, and lighting systems from service to load.
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications for service layout, conduit coordination, grounding, and lightning protection.

Qualifications
- Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
- Experience with AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
- Working knowledge of building codes, NEC, and applicable electrical codes.
- Project management experience.
- Revit experience is a plus.
- Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
- Experience with AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
