Responsibilities
- Provide professional electrical engineering services for projects including planning, studies, design, bidding and construction administration
- Manage performance of assigned project team members
- Maintain existing client relationships and enhance pursued relationships with clients
- Identify, evaluate, pursue, and manage project opportunities
- Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work
- Maintain budgets and schedules of project assignments
- Cook up, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings
- Develop new markets, client relationships, etc.
Requirements
- Basic Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 4+ years of electrical system design experience
- Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business development
Qualifications
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected)
- Pass criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search
Preferred
- 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience in water and/or wastewater treatment
- Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems
- Project management experience
- Scope and fee development specific to electrical design
Physical Abilities
- Walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain
- Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Sometimes climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
- Lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight
- Lift up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
- Wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear
- Occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload
- Travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town
