Electrical Preconstruction Specialist

Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for various stages of design (conceptual through GMP).
• Familiar with and able to perform basic constructability reviews and offer design-phase insights.
• Cookordinate and solicit subcontractor/vendor pricing.
• Assist in creating project schedules and phasing strategies.
• Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to align scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred but not required
• 2–5 years of experience in estimating or pre-construction roles
• Proficiency with estimating and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and sequences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
