About the role
Quad in East Long Meadow is currently hiring an Electrical/Mechanical Technician who wants to make a difference!
Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable in the areas of Electrical and Mechanical maintenance, hydraulics and pneumatics, preventive maintenance
- Follow company safety procedures
- Work compressed work week—12-hour night shifts, including nights and weekends
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
- Systematically solve problems
- Experience with industrial preventative maintenance, AC/DC motors
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of standard machine shop equipment, mill, lath, welding, plumbing etc. is preferred
- Must have own hand tools
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Follow all company Safety Policies and procedures
Requirements
- Self-starter capable of working independently or as a team member
- Prioritize workload based on production needs
- High School/Trade school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in industrial maintenance preferred
- Minimum of 3 years Electrical/Mechanical experience or equivalent combination of related experience and education required
Qualifications
- Electrical/mechanical background in an industrial setting
- Familiar with 110/220/480v power
- Experience with troubleshooting, repair, perform predictive and preventive maintenance on high-speed production equipment
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Own hand tools
- Willingness to follow company Safety Policies and procedures

Pay
Employees can be expected to be paid an hourly range of $25-$40, based on variations in knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions.
Schedule
The shifts are 12 hours: 8pm-8am. You do not switch shifts. Overtime is available.
