Electrical/Mechanical Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex electrical and mechanical construction projects. The ideal candidate has extensive project management experience in commercial or industrial environments, with data center experience strongly preferred. Experience with marina electrical systems is a plus. Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Define project scope, deliverables, and milestones.
Capture project scope, deliverables, and milestones.

Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure projects meet all safety, operational, and compliance requirements.
Manage projects involving:
- UPS systems
- Switchgear
- Power Distribution Units (PDUs)
- Redundant power systems (N+1, 2N)
- Grounding systems
- Critical power distribution
Review project specifications and ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards.
Lead multidisciplinary teams consisting of electricians, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
Conduct regular team meetings and provide technical guidance.
Foster a collaborative, safety-focused, and results-driven work environment.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, utility providers, inspectors, and permitting authorities.
Provide regular project updates and resolve project-related issues.
Manage RFIs, permits, and project documentation.
Monitor labor, equipment, and material costs.
Approve material purchases and manage procurement of long-lead equipment.
Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
Conduct quality inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and applicable industry standards.
Review commissioning reports, testing documentation, and punch-list items.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor job site safety and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
Implement corrective actions when necessary to keep projects on schedule.
Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, vendors, and equipment deliveries.
Resolve procurement and scheduling challenges proactively.
Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.
Review project schedules and site progress.
Communicate with clients, inspectors, and utility companies.
Monitor labor reports, purchase orders, and equipment utilization.
Conduct daily site walkthroughs for quality and safety.
Track project risks and adjust resources as needed.
Maintain communication with all project stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
10+ years of Electrical and/or Mechanical Project Management experience.
Experience managing complex commercial or industrial electrical construction projects.
Data center project experience is highly preferred.
Marina electrical project experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and applicable electrical codes.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency with project management software (ComputerEase experience is a plus).
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
