Responsibilities
- Assembling electrical and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products following detailed work instructions
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Performing wiring, soldering, crimping, and cable routing tasks
- Conducting functional testing and basic troubleshooting to ensure product performance and quality
- Identifying and escalating quality, safety, or process concerns
- Completing required production and quality documentation accurately
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment aligned with 5S standards
- Collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Technical certification or vocational training in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field
- Experience in a lean or ISO-regulated manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters
- IPC soldering certification or equivalent experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands for assembly and tool operation
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed
- Strong visual acuity for detailed assembly work
Pay
The compensation range for this role is $19 - $21 USD per hour.
