This role is located at 51 Robinson St, North Tonawanda, NY 14120, and supports the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will conduct, maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. Primary duties include installing, starting up, and shutting down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.

  • Inform management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved
  • Maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance functions as directed
  • Assist maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Electrical background, military training, and/or technical school preferred
  • Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment and follow specific directions
  • Ability to work safely and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Compliance with all safety regulations
  • Knowledge of electrical components and equipment, including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
  • Computer experience/operation and PLC programming
  • Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required

Pay

The starting range is $38 - $41.42/hr, depending on role, level, and location, with a shift differential of $0.50/hr for 2nd shift and $0.65/hr for 3rd shift.

Schedule

2nd shift or 3rd shift (M-F, 3pm - 11pm or 11pm - 7am), with daily and weekend overtime as needed.
