Job Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance on electrical systems, panels, wiring, and equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
- C Conduct routine inspections of electrical components, identifying wear, hazards, or performance issues before they become major problems.
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing devices and technical knowledge to determine root causes and corrective actions.
- Repair or replace defective wiring, outlets, switches, breakers, lighting, and other electrical components to restore safe operation.
- Maintain electrical panels, motors, generators, and transformers to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Record maintenance activities, inspection results, and repair recommendations using Service Titan or similar software.
- Ensure all maintenance work adheres to national electrical codes and local building regulations while following strict safety protocols.
- Work closely with service technicians, supervisors, and homeowners to coordinate maintenance schedules and communicate system conditions clearly.
- Provide timely support for urgent electrical issues requiring immediate maintenance attention.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years as an Electrical Maintenance Technician, Residential Electrician, or similar role.
- Licensing: Valid electrical license as required by state or local regulations.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, preventive maintenance practices, and diagnostic tools.
- Software Skills: Experience with Service Titan or comparable maintenance/service software preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify early signs of electrical issues and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Communication Skills: Ability to explain findings and recommendations clearly to homeowners and team members.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with electrical maintenance.
