Electrical Maintenance Tech IV - 1st Shift

Description

The Electrical Maintenance Technician IV is responsible for leading, overseeing, and guiding the most complex and difficult tasks assigned to Maintenance Technicians I, II, and III. They perform a variety of skilled mechanical and electrical work, including troubleshooting, repair, installation, and testing of equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 8 years’ electrical maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing setting
• Computer experience/operation and PLC programming
• Ability to work 1st shift and overtime as needed
• Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, and perform other duties as assigned
• Thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment, including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes
• In-house electrical authorization must be obtained prior to conducting any electrical assignments
• Working knowledge of operations, services, and activities of all areas of mechanical and electrical maintenance

Qualifications

• Ability to lead, organize, and review the work of maintenance staff
• Independently perform the most difficult mechanical maintenance, repair, installation, and testing functions on all but the most sophisticated equipment
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Complete all work with quality workmanship and quality repairs
