Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary

Direct and oversee all phases of plant electrical and instrumentation maintenance to ensure the safe, environmentally friendly and cost-effective production of quality products to serve our customers. Manage/supervise a team of wage roll employees. Supervise subordinates, resolve employee problems and disciplinary issues in accordance with the Union contract. Consult with Human Resources as appropriate. Oversee and ensure development, implementation and monitoring of a comprehensive safety program in assigned area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Electrical Maintenance Supervision

Skills/Abilities

• Demonstrates an in-depth working knowledge of electrical and instrumentation process equipment operation and applications
• Demonstrates an in-depth working knowledge of piping systems, schematics, engineering and electrical drawings
• Demonstrates knowledge of ASME, ANSI codes
• Demonstrates understanding of OSHA regulations and a basic knowledge of local and state regulations concerning plant operation and construction
• Demonstrates effective presentation, facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Able to interact effectively with all levels of employees
• Able to cope with multiple interruptions
• Demonstrates computer literacy with regard to Afton’s routine applications (SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.) and is able to use appropriate software to solve engineering problems

Pay Range: $87,000 - $105,000
