Electrical Journeyman (On Track to Obtain)

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Journeyman to lead commercial and industrial electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs within various active environments, including healthcare, government, schools, and secure facilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, panels, and conduit based on blueprints and technical documents.
• Inspect and diagnose electrical system hazards, defects, and malfunctions, ensuring compliance with National Electrical Code and local regulations.
• Measure, cut, bend, and route conduit using hand and power tools.
• Mentor apprentices and support team collaboration with other trades to keep projects efficient.
• Work in active, occupied facilities with a focus on safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification (or on track to obtain within one year).
• Hands-on experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Capacity to work independently, travel regionally, and meet site-access requirements.

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
