Electrical Instrumentation Technician

About the Role

• Oversee computer-controlled plant equipment, including process controls and emission monitors
• Maintain power distribution, instrumentation, and control systems
• Plan and manage electrical and instrumentation regulatory programs
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment as needed
• Respond to supervisor requests for resets and fuses
• Install power and control wiring as necessary
• Attend company training for safety and equipment updates
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
• Practice safe work habits and adhere to safety policies, always wearing appropriate PPE
• Take on additional duties as assigned
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards during maintenance tasks
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant motors, circuit breakers, transformers, and related equipment
• Be available for emergency callouts outside regular shifts
• Work collaboratively and individually to ensure timely repairs and thorough maintenance inspections
• Familiar with electrical symbols, diagrams, and the ability to research solutions using electronic and printed resources

About You

We Require:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Minimum of certification(s) in Industrial Electrical principles or related field
• Industrial Electrical experience
• Good organizational and math skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
