Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.

Clearance Requirements

Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Key part of a cross-functional team responsible for designing complex and mission-critical systems.
  • Involved in all program phases, including requirements analysis, schematic capture, defining routing constraints, directing PCB/PWB layout and routing activities, and supporting the manufacturing, integration & test, and qualification of the hardware system.
  • Collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders and customers to develop systems that meet their high expectations.
  • Supports the Airborne Systems business area developing mission computers, sensor processors, and stores management hardware, with opportunities to work across GDMS.
  • Encourages applications from individuals with preferred skills or experiences such as designing electrical hardware using the Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition tool suite, high-speed digital and high-density circuit card design incorporating embedded processors or FPGAs, designs using fiber optic interfaces, and advanced working knowledge of lab equipment including oscilloscopes and Ethernet network testers.

  • Experience with circuit card designs, including using advanced materials, packaging techniques, and high-speed interfaces.
  • Working knowledge of the Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition tool suite for schematic entry, constraint manager, and HyperLynx Signal Integrity/Power Integrity analysis.
  • Ability to persevere through design challenges with minimal direction.

Target Salary Range

USD $118,570.00/Yr. - USD $125,054.00/Yr.
