Electrical Full-Time Instructor

About the role

Northbridge University is seeking a Full-Time Electrical/Electrician Instructor to join our dynamic team. Our campuses are expanding, and we're looking for passionate educators to help shape the next generation of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Electrical Trades and related applications
• Provide hands-on experience and technical guidance to apprentices and trainees
• Manage course documents and educational resources using a learning management system
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements

• Specialized training and industry certifications in the Electrical Trades
• Journeyman License and/or Electrical Contractors License
• Two or more years of teaching experience preferred or equivalent experience as a certified mentor or apprentice
• NCCER Certification as an Electrician (preferred)
• Proficiency in computer usage

Qualifications

• Passion for teaching and mentoring
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate class schedules
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to changing classroom environments
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Courses typically run Monday to Thursday and can be held in the morning or evening.
