Job Functions
- Direct and supervise the work of electricians and electrical teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure all electrical work meets quality standards and complies with relevant codes, regulations, and project specifications.
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Identify and resolve electrical issues and problems that arise during projects.
- Provide technical expertise and solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and address any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, work performed, and any issues encountered.
- Prepare and submit reports as required.
- Provide training and mentorship to electrical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- State of Colorado Electrical License preferred.
- Proven experience in electrical supervision, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Great leadership and communication skills.
- Able to manage projects and priorities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Skills
- Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written instructions in English.
- Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Computer savvy.
Physical Requirements
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces above- or below-ground level, such as: towers, scaffolding, vessels, excavations, etc.
- Able to carry 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials without assistance.
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
