About the role

Loenbro is a trusted construction lifecycle partner with a national presence but local approach. They offer a range of services including Critical Electrical, Mechanical & Structural, Soft Crafts, Inspection, Underground Maintenance and Installation, and Fabrication. The role of Electrical Foreman involves leading and managing a team of electricians and apprentices, overseeing daily crew production, conducting inspections, enforcing safety protocols, and managing materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing a team of electricians and apprentices
  • Assigning tasks, setting clear expectations, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Overseeing daily crew production and providing constructive feedback and timely performance evaluations
  • Trains new hires and apprentices, and provides ongoing development opportunities
  • Plans and schedules electrical work to meet project deadlines
  • Coordinates with project managers, other trades, and reviews blueprints and specifications to allocate labor and resources effectively
  • Conducts regular inspections of work in progress to ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and regulations
  • Identifies deficiencies and implements corrective actions to maintain high-quality workmanship
  • Enforces all safety policies and procedures, conducts daily safety meetings, and ensures team members use proper PPE and follow OSHA and company safety guidelines
  • Manages procurement, inventory, and proper use of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Ensures timely maintenance and repair of equipment as needed to avoid delays

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the electrical trade, with at least 4 years leading mission critical projects and electrical teams
  • Ability to contribute to the installation or direct others through the installation and troubleshooting process
  • Ability to coordinate manpower needs and lead cross-functional communications
  • Ability to coordinate or place material orders after competition price comparisons have been completed
  • Maintain compliance with company, state, and OSHA safety standards
  • Strong preference for NCCER, NFPA, or OSHA certifications

Qualifications

  • Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of 2 miles per day
  • Standing
  • Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel
  • Use of respirator if position requires
  • Driving if required to travel

Pay

$1 - $1 USD

Schedule

This position may require travel to various project sites. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.
