Electrical Foreman
About the role
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for leading the electrical discipline across the operational fleet and equipment in all basins. This position ensures company practices, procedures, and quality standards are followed while mentoring team members, facilitating competency development, and aligning shop operations for uniformity across basins. The Electrical Foreman serves as the subject matter expert for electrical systems and reports directly to the Fleet Director.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Electrical systems across all basins.
- Provide leadership and technical support to Lead Technicians and maintenance staff within your area of influence.
- Work closely with Maintenance Managers and Inventory teams to ensure proper spare component stocking and utilization.
- Develop troubleshooting and maintenance guides for shop and field equipment.
- Assist with asset labeling and inventory control.
- Communicate procedural or equipment changes to maintenance and field personnel.
- Mentor staff, support career development, and facilitate competency sign-offs.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Managers and Director regarding employee promotions.
- Manage and lead major projects designated by the Director or VP, including fleet upgrades and major component overhauls.
- Ensure all basins operate in compliance with company policy and Quality Manual standards.
- Develop, implement, and revise procedures within the Electrical discipline.
- Review and update SOPs as necessary and ensure employees are properly trained on revisions.
- Enforce safe work practices and PPE requirements in all shop environments.
- Assist in development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
- Continuously identify improvements in equipment reliability, shop processes, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Skills & Abilities
- Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Experience: 10+ years of verifiable electrical experience within your area of influence. Oilfield equipment and fleet electrical experience strongly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities for electrical systems on heavy equipment and operational fleet assets.
- Experience developing procedures, reviewing SOPs, and mentoring technical staff.
- Experience managing large-scale fleet projects and major component overhauls.

Schedule
Maintains a flexible work schedule to meet operational demands; hours may be long and irregular. Based out of PA, Rotational schedule, Able to travel to other basins required to mentor and support maintenance staff.
