Job Description Electrical Field Engineer II Abernathy, TX Target-$45-48hr Per Diem: $150/day Available Schedule: 13 Days On / 1 Day Off 18-Month Project Data Center Construction Are you an experienced electrical professional who enjoys solving field challenges, coordinating engineering deliverables, and supporting project execution? We are seeking an Electrical Field Engineer II to support a major Data Center construction project in Abernathy, Texas. This role serves as a critical link between engineering, construction, project management, and field operations to ensure successful project execution from installation through commissioning and turnover. Key Responsibilities Review IFC drawings, specifications, and construction documentsSupport field execution by resolving design and installation conflictsDevelop field sketches and coordinate engineering updatesPrepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and technical documentationMaintain and track as-built drawings and turnover packagesSupport work package development and field planning activitiesCoordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and subcontractorsTrack quantities, field progress, and project milestonesAssist with inspections, commissioning, and startup activitiesSupport change order development and project reporting Qualifications 5+ years of electrical construction experienceExperience supporting Data Center, Industrial, Power Generation, Substation, or Oil & Gas projectsStrong understanding of electrical installation practices and field executionExperience managing RFIs, submittals, work packages, and turnover documentationAbility to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documentsStrong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience using Bluebeam Preferred Qualifications Data Center construction experienceBIM and/or Procore experienceElectrical Engineering degreeE&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) project experience Why Join This Project?
