Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in engineering degree from an accredited college, preference of Electrical.
- Leadership experience in aerospace environment.

Job Description
You will be the Electrical Engineering Manager for the Skunk Works Advanced Development Programs – Electrical Subsystems team which is responsible for delivering cutting-edge electrical power solutions to historic aerospace projects.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Electrical Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading a high-performing electrical subsystem team while actively contributing technical expertise to Advanced Development Programs.
- Define staffing needs, recruit top talent, and manage the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance reviews, and terminations.
- Coach, mentor, and assign work to engineers, fostering growth in the Electrical Power Systems competency.
- Oversee technical execution of electrical power system design, analysis, and integration within Skunk Works projects.
- Develop and implement training, career-development, and recognition programs to elevate team capability.
- Collaborate with the Palmdale Vehicle Systems Sr. Manager and cross-functional partners to align resources with mission objectives.

Desired Skills
- 13 years+ experience with Electrical Power Systems.
- Experience developing electrical subsystem architectures.
- Experience performing electrical loads analysis.
- Experienced in architecting vehicle power distribution system.
- Experience with other aircraft systems.
- Experience trouble shooting electrical systems.
- Experience of overseeing hardware suppliers.
- Experience with either Capital, Mentor Graphics, or Harness design tool.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance with an investigation within 5 years to start. This position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale.
