Electrical Engineering Internship - Marketing Department

Responsibilities

• Aid in energy savings calculations and utility data reviews.
• Support research on combined heat and power (CHP), distributed generation, and other energy technologies.
• Organize and review customer electric and gas usage data for opportunity screening.
• Document existing electrical infrastructure during site visits, including switchgear and distribution equipment.
• Develop familiarity with switchgear, electrical distribution systems, and basic interconnection concepts.
• Perform other related research, analytical, and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a sophomore classification or above.
• Strong analytical and computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and other standard applications.
• An interest in energy, project management, and business development.
• Prior internship experience is preferred, but not required.
• Coursework in power systems, circuits, or energy systems is preferred.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
