Overview
Kimley-Horn is looking for Electrical Engineering students to join their Renewable Energy team in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC).
Responsibilities
- Work on various projects including photometrics and lighting, power distribution, EV charging, and more.
- Gain exposure to solar/energy projects with a focus on battery storage and PV.
- Aid in technical specification and report writing, electrical equipment cost research.
- Utilize technical software programs regularly to analyze, produce, and quality control deliverables for clients.
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions for the built environment.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and client’s practices, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications
- In the process of receiving an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelors or Masters).
