About the role
Kimley-Horn is looking for Electrical Engineering students to join our Renewable Energy team in the White Plains, New York (NY) office. This is an in-person position.
Responsibilities
- Work on a wide variety of projects, such as photometrics and lighting, power distribution, EV charging, and more.
- Gain exposure to solar and energy projects with a focus on battery storage and PV.
- Assist with technical specification and report writing, as well as electrical equipment cost research.
- Utilize technical software programs regularly to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to bring clients’ visions to life.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and clients’ practices, procedures, and standards.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
Pay
Hourly rate range: $36.00 – $37.00.
