About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our growing team and assist in the testing and validation of components and subsystems. The individual will work hands-on in the lab, including setting up experiments, gathering data, and interpreting results, and will contribute to system integration efforts across electrical, mechanical, and software domains. The ideal candidate thrives in a start-up environment and is excited to work hands-on with a small, high-performing team pushing the boundaries of next-generation launch technology.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s program in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab work, or team/personal projects)
- Familiarity with standard lab tools and instrumentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, methodical, and attentive to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), Refugee under 8 U.S.C.1157, Asylee under 8 U.S.C.1158, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State (ITAR requirements)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., electrical, mechanical, software)
- Background in fast-paced environments like startups, labs, or hackathons
- Passion for space technologies, advanced defense systems, or rapid prototyping
- Familiarity with electromagnetic systems, high-voltage circuits, or power electronics is a plus
