Electrical Engineering Intern

About the Role

DHE is looking for full or part-time electrical engineering interns to work as part of an integrated, multi-disciplined design team in our Phoenix, Arizona office.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an integrated, multi-disciplined design team
• Grow in proficiency using AutoCAD, Revit, Word, Excel, and other field-related software (SKM Powertools, Visual 3D, COMcheck) with guidance from experienced staff

Qualifications

• Currently in pursuit of a 4-year Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (with a power and/or lighting emphasis)
• School accreditations are appropriate for obtaining professional engineering licensure after required experience
• Must be excited to learn, detailed, organized, personable, and driven to grow in knowledge and experience

Skills

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is helpful
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is helpful
• Fluent in AutoCAD and/or Revit as well as Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
• SKM Power Tools, COMcheck, LEED, and/or pursuing commissioning credentials are a plus

Pay

Compensation will vary based on experience but typically ranges from $15-$25/hour.
