Overview
Kimley-Horn is seeking Electrical Engineering graduates to join its Charlotte, NC office. This position is not available remotely.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technical software programs regularly to analyze, produce, and Quality Control deliverables for clients.
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions for the built environment.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and client's practices, procedures, and standards.
- Work on a variety of projects including building MEP, photometrics and lighting, power distribution, renewable energy, EV charging, security and communications, industrial controls, and more.
- Assist with technical specification and report writing, electrical equipment cost research.
- Gain exposure to solar/energy projects with a focus on battery storage and PV, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Design.
Qualifications
An ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.
