Overview
Kimley-Horn is seeking Electrical Engineering graduates for its Warrenville, Illinois (IL) office. This position is not available remotely.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and quality control deliverables for clients
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and client's practices, procedures, and standards
- Work on a variety of projects including building MEP, photometrics and lighting, power distribution, renewable energy, EV charging, security and communications, industrial controls, and more
- Conduct electrical equipment cost research and assist with technical specification and report writing
- Gain exposure to solar/energy projects with a focus on battery storage and PV, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Design
Qualifications
An ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.
Pay
$88,000 - $91,500
