Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Leading the design of packages and stations to ensure specifications and performance metrics are met as outlined by the Director of Fleet & Capital Purchasing, Stations Construction Group, customers, and industry standards
- Reviewing and approving field evaluations to measure and record compression unit and station performance, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
- Identifying, diagnosing, and leading resolution efforts for inefficiencies or malfunctions in compression units and station systems
- Reviewing and approving drawings by designers and/or vendors to ensure stations and compression units meet Kodiak design criteria and applicable industry standards
- Providing technical guidance and oversight to engineers and designers in the development of electrical and control system designs
- Collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Construction teams to ensure that customer requirements and special provisions are effectively incorporated into station and package designs
- Supporting project execution by contributing to scope development, timelines, and design reviews
- Leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for system or equipment failures
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, efficiency, and cost optimization
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety, and engineering standards (e.g., ASME, NEC, B31.3, B31.8)
- Attending all required Kodiak safety trainings and ensuring adherence to all Kodiak safety requirements
- Promoting and reinforcing a strong safety culture for both yourself and fellow Kodiak employees
- Mentoring and developing entry-level and junior engineers
