Responsibilities

  • Prepare Electrical Engineering technical designs and design templates for renewable energy installations
  • Provide due diligence efforts and interpretations of designs by others
  • Prepare the basis of design analysis and review
  • Interface with other technical disciplines
  • Prepare engineering design and construction documents
  • Improve the Electrical Engineering design processes through collaboration
  • Travel for site inspection, evaluation, and viability analyses
  • Attend and participate in project-related meetings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited engineering program
  • Professional Engineer License
  • 3+ years’ experience working with, interpreting, designing, and/or preparing Electrical Engineering documents including: NEC Code, solar systems, battery storage systems, EV Charging systems, Utility interconnection for Distributed Generation (Behind and Front of the Meter), utility scale (a plus)
  • Effective problem-solving and evaluation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient software user including: AutoCAD, E-Tabs, PMS, Excel, MS Word, MS Project, Modeling Software: PVSYST - Helioscope, Other engineering design software

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
  • Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift
  • Requires the ability to climb a ladder

Pay

Salary range: $90,000 to $150,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
