Electrical Engineer - Reading

Job Overview

Hubbell is seeking an Electrical Engineer to oversee application assessment, proposal, design, and documentation of high-quality custom communication systems to meet customer specifications. This role involves handling applications of moderate complexity level, working independently or with a Senior Engineer.

• GAI-Tronics product knowledge, with an emphasis on understanding communication system design and the ability to correlate to a customer's specification
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using Windows operating system and MS Office products
• Proficient in using AutoCAD
• Familiar with SAP

Required Experience

• 3-5 years of previous experience required
• BSEE or BSEET degree required

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Skills and Knowledge

• Experience with test equipment and measurement methodologies for electrical systems
• Experience with designing and testing for regulatory requirements (UL, CSA, FCC, etc.)
