We're partnering with an innovative advanced technology manufacturer that is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the development and enhancement of sophisticated motion control and power electronics products. This opportunity offers exposure to cutting-edge applications spanning industrial automation, robotics, precision equipment, and intelligent control systems. The role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working across the entire hardware development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing, validation, and production support. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to remain hands-on with complex electrical design while contributing to products that incorporate embedded processing, programmable logic, networking technologies, and advanced power conversion techniques. You'll have the chance to work alongside a highly technical engineering team, solve challenging hardware problems, and make meaningful contributions to next-generation products used in demanding real-world environments. This is a contract position with potential to convert to full time. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline 6+ years of electronic hardware design experience Experience designing mixed-signal circuit boards that combine analog, digital, and power electronics technologies Strong background working with microcontroller and FPGA-based systems Experience creating engineering documentation including schematics, BOMs, design specifications, and revision-controlled documentation Proficiency using laboratory equipment to validate and troubleshoot hardware designs Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team-oriented engineering environment Desired Skills & Experience Master's degree in Electrical Engineering Experience with motion control, servo systems, or motor drive technologies Familiarity with PCB development tools such as OrCAD, PADS, Allegro, or similar platforms Knowledge of electrical safety, EMC, and regulatory compliance requirements Experience supporting products through manufacturing and production release Background in reliability testing and product qualification programs Experience in industrial automation, robotics, or precision control applications What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 35% Electronic Circuit Design & Development 25% Power Electronics & Motion Control Systems 20% Hardware Validation & Testing 20% Production Support & Technical Problem Solving Daily Responsibilities 70% Hands-On Engineering 10% Documentation & Design Reviews 20% Team Collaboration Posted By: Kaylyn Romano
