Electrical Engineer - Mid-Level

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Engineering site surveys and analysis
- Feasibility studies
- Load studies and energy analysis
- Computer Aided Drafting
- Quality Control
- Detailed design of power distribution systems
- Develop one-line diagrams, control schematics, and electrical & instrument diagrams (E&IDs)
- Equipment selections, load calculations, control diagrams, systems narratives, commissioning planning and execution, and creating specification documents
- Utilize basic engineering principles and practical design solutions
- Aid in the development and review of custom designs and sequences
- Develop and implement integrated systems testing procedures and commissioning
- Assist in project management to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Work with clients, salesmen, managers, and engineers to coordinate project designs
- Work with sub-consultants to coordinate trades
- Attend job meetings & coordinate activities as required
- Attend training as requested to further enhance duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding initiative, a well-organized and strong sense of responsibility
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong awareness of current and emerging industry standards, vendors, and technologies
- Two to five years of experience in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical design concepts and techniques
- Experience with REVIT is an advantage
