Electrical Engineer, Manufacturing Test (Sentry)

As an Electrical Engineer in the Manufacturing organization you will design and build complex systems and PCBA platforms to test our products. Data acquisition and physical layer interfaces using FPGA, MCU, and off-the-shelf equipment will enable testing our systems to stringent standards ensuring that we are consistently shipping the highest quality products to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Design Circuits and Schematics that will be built into test automation platforms.
- Integrate your designs into Anduril’s PDM systems.
- Design and source PCB Assemblies with varying complexity - from FPGA based data acquisition boards, to MCU platform data interfaces, breakout boards, wiring harnesses, or peripheral modules.
- Architect and source circuit board test fixtures, integrating your designs with internally developed and off-the-shelf data acquisition equipment.
- Debug, and Characterize circuits, low speed interfaces (I2C, SPI, CAN, etc.) and high speed signals (RF, memory, USB).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on product designs that have gone to manufacturing.
- Experience with Professional Electronics Design packages (Altium, Cadence, PADs, etc.) for schematic capture and layout.
- Experience in PCBA Design.
- Ability to design and fabricate your own designs, or guide contract manufacturing resources.
- Strong familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition and measurement sensors.
- Familiar with Product Life Cycle (PLM) systems and releasing designs for production.
- Experience with scripting tools Python for configuration and automation of setup tasks.
- Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Familiarity with FPGA PCBA platforms - RTL, design synthesis, and bare-metal coding.
- Master’s of Science in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
