Electrical Engineer, Manufacturing Test

Responsibilities

• Design and build complex systems and PCBA platforms to test Anduril’s products.
• Integrate designs into Anduril’s PDM systems, adhering to the same process used by product design teams.
• Design and source PCB Assemblies with varying complexity, including FPGA-based data acquisition boards, MCU platform data interfaces, breakout boards, wiring harnesses, or peripheral modules.
• Architect and source circuit board test fixtures, integrating designs with data acquisition equipment.
• Build internal libraries for test circuits, focusing on DFM/DFT.
• Bring up, debug, and characterize circuits, low-speed interfaces (I2C, SPI, CAN), and high-speed signals (RF, memory, USB).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on product designs that have gone to manufacturing.
• Experience with professional electronics design packages (Altium, Cadence, PADs, etc.) for schematic capture and layout.
• Expertise in PCBA Design, including the ability to design and fabricate your own designs or guide contract manufacturing resources.
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition, and measurement sensors.
• Familiarity with Product Life Cycle (PLM) systems and releasing designs for production.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Prioritized Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with scripting tools Python for configuration and automation of setup tasks.
• Familiarity with FPGA PCBA platforms - RTL, design synthesis, and bare-metal coding.
• Master’s of Science in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.

Pay

The US Salary Range for this role is $129,000 - $171,000 USD. The salary range is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
