About the role

PAE is seeking a motivated and inquisitive Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in any one of our major office locations, including San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; New York, NY; Boston, MA; Denver, CO; Portland, OR; and Los Angeles, CA. The internship program provides hands‑on experience in sustainable engineering design over a 10‑ to 12‑week paid period, where interns learn about the building design industry from a traditional viewpoint and the PAE and LUMA way, working directly on engineering and design teams on projects ranging from small retrofits to high‑profile Living Buildings, gaining an understanding of the full design process—planning, execution, and problem solving.

• Site Visits/Site Observation Reports
• Cost estimate review/preparation
• M/E coordination schedule

Requirements

• 3rd year undergraduate student preferred
• Desire to work in the Building Design industry
• Passionate about sustainable design solutions
• Effective communicator
• On‑site intern position based in one of PAE’s local offices

Pay

Hourly base rate: $21.00 - $27.00
