About the role
Raytheon Technologies (RTX) is seeking individuals with a strong background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related STEM fields. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and relevant experience in RF, microwave, analog, digital electronics, mixed signal, circuit design, analysis, power electronics, VHDL, FPGA, electrical components, digital signal processing, or PCB design.
Responsibilities
- Designing RF, digital, power, and analog circuits
- VHDL design
- Integration and testing of electronic hardware
- Operating and automating test equipment in a lab environment
- Analyzing, modeling, and simulating electronic designs
- Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to CCA and component levels
- Resolution of issues on production lines and in testing (including suppliers)
- Component selection for electronic designs
- Layout and routing support of printed circuit boards
- Providing factory, field, production, and supplier support domestically and internationally
Qualifications
- You must have a Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related STEM field.
- Experience with one or more of the following systems: RF, Microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Power Electronics, VHDL, FPGA, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing, or PCB design.
- We prefer candidates with a 3.0 cumulative GPA from an ABET accredited institution, digital, RF, Analog, and/or Power electronics coursework, lab experience with hardware/software integration, test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control, knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting using common lab equipment, technical working knowledge of electronic components, knowledge of electro-optical subsystems, experience developing applications for GPU using CUDA or OpenCL, experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations and FRACAS processes.
