About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join our Kansas office. This role involves developing and documenting system designs, interpreting technical criteria, and utilizing information from various sources.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria.
  • Interpret and utilize information set forth in basis of design, as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.
  • Exercise independent judgment in developing and implementing system designs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Prepare and review construction documents and specifications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.

Requirements

  • BSEE or BSAE degree required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of electrical engineering experience.
  • PE License or ability to obtain one.
  • Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Effective working individually and within team environments.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
