Responsibilities
- Design development, equipment layouts, construction drawings and bill of materials
- Proficiency of power engineering theories and principles
- Proficiency of practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations and preparing recommendations
- Understanding of power distribution systems
- Ability to understand complex initiatives across multiple teams/platforms
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Quantitative and analytical skill set
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to multitask and adapt to changing demands
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4+ years of prior industry experience
- Proficient in the use of all software needed to produce quality electrical design drawings such as AutoCAD, TED, Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of PPL Electric Utilities standards and distribution design practices is preferred
- Ability to interpret and analyze customer's electrical, architectural, and structural drawings, one-line diagram and load letters

- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License
