Electrical Engineer I (M/F/D)*

About the role

The entry-level Electrical Engineer I supports the design and integration of control systems for industrial material-handling solutions and production lines.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains controls engineering and design documentation, including sensor/actuator layouts, controls component order lists, electrical drawings, motor lists, etc.
• Cross-references controls components, creates TGW part numbers, and orders necessary controls components in designated software tools (e.g. Navision).
• Affords technical support to Project Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Installation, Controls Commissioning, and other internal teams involved in installation and commissioning of TGW equipment.
• Specifies, clarifies, and documents the controls interfaces for third-party equipment, while supporting the controls processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Controls-related field (Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Prior internship or full-time engineering experience, preferably in material-handling or industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Up to 20% travel, as required.
