Electrical Engineer - Control Systems

About the role

A Large, continuous process manufacturer in the greater Kingsport area is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support electrical control systems, equipment, machinery, and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Involved in hardware / software design for new projects, including PLCs, HMIs, and drives (AC and DC).
• Works closely with Maintenance on capital project initiatives.

Requirements

• MUST have a BSEE.
• At least 4 years manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of medium voltage power systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be already located in the Tri-Cities area.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and drives (AC and DC).
• Ability to work effectively with maintenance teams.
