Electrical Engineer Capital Projects

Description

The Smurfit Westrock Solvay Mill seeks an Electrical Engineer to manage multiple capital projects, primarily in electrical, instrumentation, and control areas. Key responsibilities include project development, coordination, and technical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in process design, power distribution, PLC/DCS, and variable speed drives
• Capital project development, execution, and installation/commissioning
• Troubleshooting plant electrical equipment and systems
• Supporting plant maintenance team on preventive maintenance activities, including equipment obsolescence planning and spare parts procurement strategy
• Pulp and Paper experience a plus
