Electrical Engineer - *Building Services*

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and quality oversight, including code review, of all project work involving electrical engineering.
• Technical training and development of staff.
• Establishing and improving standards, practices, guidelines, and specifications for the electrical discipline area.
• Engineer of Record.
• Provide 'on-the-spot' advice and decisions - technical and cost estimates.
• Cordination with all the disciplines involved, including outside consultants.
• Technical interface with code officials and contractors.

Requirements

Accomplished electrical engineer/PE with 8+ years of progressive technical experience in the design of power distribution, lighting, life safety, and telecommunications systems on community-based vertical construction projects.

Experience should include technical oversight of multiple projects with proven success, providing technical oversight on projects that meet contract specifications and technical standards to the client on time and within budget.

Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Well organized, takes good notes.
