Electrical Engineer / Board Designer

About the role

ENSCO Avionics is seeking electrical engineers to support one of our local customers. The role involves:

• Developing product designs and/or test methods
• Performing or defining complex tests for evaluation of product, equipment or processes
• Working independently in planning and coordinating resources necessary to complete assignments
• Reviewing and analyzing a variety of data to determine requirements for meeting engineering objectives
• Interacting independently with customers, vendors, and personnel on significant design, process or evaluation issues
• Coinciding and providing support to other departments within the Company

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Developing product designs and/or test methods
• Performing or defining complex tests for evaluation of product, equipment or processes
• Working independently in planning and coordinating resources necessary to complete assignments
• Reviewing and analyzing a variety of data to determine requirements for meeting engineering objectives
• Interacting independently with customers, vendors, and personnel on significant design, process or evaluation issues
• Coinciding and providing support to other departments within the Company

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of related experience
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (Mentor Graphics PADS or equivalent)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Background with fiber optic communication preferred
• Familiarity with C, C#, FPGA, or python software preferred
